ELAP 2550 - Journeyman Test Prep Course 3.0 Credits
Students learn relevant parts of the National Electric Code (N.E.C.) and electrical calculations, to prepare for successful completion of the journeyman electrician test.

Course Objectives
- Demonstrate an understanding of the National Electric Code overall layout and its field applications.
- Show working knowledge of Ohm’s law and how it applies to field applications.
- Demonstrate an understanding of both basic electrical and complex load calculations.
- Compute motor calculations and basic transformer sizing.
