The operating principles and function of each of the major parts of the reciprocating piston internal combustion engine are presented and discussed.  Service, overhaul, and troubleshooting techniques as they relate to each component are also covered.

1.    Demonstrate, identify, describe Basic Engine Fundamentals and measurement.
2.    Demonstrate, identify, perform and describe Engine Upper End Theory and Repair.
3.    Demonstrate, identify, inspect, replace and describe Engine Lower End Theory and Repair.
4.    Demonstrate, diagnose, perform Lubrication, Sealing and Reassembly.
5.    Describe, inspect, diagnose and repair Cooling System.
6.    Inspect, Diagnose and demonstrate Engine Diagnosis.
