PRMA 2412 - CNC II 9.0 Credits
Students gain introductory knowledge and skills in using Cad/Cam software Mastercam. Students learn about geometry creation, drawing of 2D parts, saving programs, tool paths, creating lines and arcs, and bolt circles.
Prerequisites: (2) DRAF 2050 AND PRMA 2410 with a grade of C or better

Course Objectives 1. Generate a construction drawing using CAD from sketches and specifications.
2. Use CAM software to generate a set of instructions to the computer controlled machines to produce a part.
3. Upload a Mastercam program setup.
4. Operate the Haas lathe and mill.
5. Produce a part within assigned tolerances.
