PLAP 1210 - Plumbing IIA 7.0 Credits
This course covers the sizing and design of water, waste, and vent systems in residential applications using MUD and Omaha Plumbing Code rules. Students become familiar with residential blueprints and isometric drawings used in residential applications.
Prerequisites: (1) PLAP 1121

Course Objectives
- Demonstrate applicable math skills for the plumbing trade
- Identify residential blueprint and isometrics with dimensions for developing plumbing systems.
- Demonstrate the ability to apply and understand the Omaha Plumbing Code Articles 1-8
- Design and size water, waste and vent systems in residential applications and describe testing requirements.
- Identify the MUD and City of Omaha regulations and rules for sewer and water services.
