PHOT 1104 - Intermediate Analog Photography

In this intermediate-level course, students continue their investigation and application of black and white photography by using medium and/or large-format cameras and fiber-based black and white printing applications.

Prerequisites: (1)  PHOT 1102  with a grade of C or better.

Course Objectives
  1. Apply testing procedures for film speed and film development.
  2. Demonstrate zone system concepts in the exposure, development and printing of black and white film.
  3. Explain medium and large-format techniques, film processing, and printing of medium and large-format film.
