Students gain the skills needed to design the Multidimensional Business Intelligence Semantic Modes using SQL Server Analysis Services.  The course covers basic- through advanced-level skills for creating Multidimensional Business Intelligence Semantic Model.  The course aligns with the Microsoft Business Intelligence certification.

Course Objectives
1. Explain the Business Intelligence Semantic Model, BISM, create a multidimensional data cube and demonstrate basic MDX queries.
2. Create and enhance a Data Source View, create and deploy dimensions and enhancements for Cubes.
3. Demonstrate how to manage, backup and restore Analysis Servers and objects.
4. Demonstrate how to customize dimensions and use the Business Intelligence Wizards
5. Discuss cube storage, partitions, aggregation and performance. Understand solve query performance problems.
6. Describe the data mining process and build a data mining project using OLAP are relational models. Describe how to secure and manage dimension and cube data.
7. Create a PowerPivot application and a Tabular Model Analysis Services project
8. Describe and Use Data Analysis Expressions in Tabular Models
