INFO 2230 - Cisco CCNP Enterprise Core 4.5 Credits
Students learn advanced networking concepts, apply knowledge and skills through hands-on and simulated network activities, and demonstrate proficiency through realistic problem-solving scenarios. Students also implement core networking best practices including dual stack Internet Protocol Version 4 (IPv4) and Internet Protocol Version 6 (IPv6) architectures, virtualization, network assurance, security, and automation.

Course Objectives
- Design and build redundant layer 2 networks.
- Design and build networks using Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP) and Open Shortest Path First (OSPF).
- Design and build network using Border Gateway Protocol (BGP).
- Implement networks using multicast and Quality of Service (QoS).
- Explain Internet Protocol (IP) Services and Virtual Private Networks (VPNs).
- Design, secure, and implement a wireless network.
- Develop network monitoring strategies.
- Secure network devices using network access strategies.
- Describe the benefits of virtualization, automation, and programmability in a network.
