INFO 1501 - Python Programming I

Students learn advanced subjects in the Python programming language I. Emphasis is placed on object-oriented programming. Topics include Regular Expressions, XML, JSON and CSV parsing, and advanced database programming with SQLite.

Course Objectives
  1. Perform utility programming with Python.
  2. Code programs that make effective use of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
  3. Parse CSV, XML and JSON data.
  4. Perform database programming with SQLite.
  5. Code basic Regex Expressions to identify patterns within strings.
