This course provides students with continued opportunities and experiences to integrate and apply classroom and textbook knowledge in addition to experiences from the first practicum. Along with the field experience, students are required to successfully complete a practicum seminar in conjunction with the assigned practicum.

Course Objectives

Continue to demonstrate ethical and professional behavior at the practicum site.
Recognize and describe the types of clients served and the criteria for eligibility for services.
Use appropriate recording and documentation techniques.
Explain and demonstrate effective interview and communication skills when working with clients.
Continue to attend scheduled seminar times with practicum instructor.
