ELTR 2250 - Commercial Wiring II 6.0 Credits
This course is a continuation of Commercial Wiring I. Students focus on advanced devices, equipment installations, troubleshooting, and repairs. Further study of calculations for equipment and National Electrical Code are included.
Prerequisites: (1) ELTR 1220 with a grade of C or better

Course Objectives
- Demonstrate and practice safety in the workplace.
- Adapt to different types of testing equipment associated with the electrical field.
- Recognize various devices and equipment based on voltage and ampacity needs.
- Apply calculations for motor circuits, including feeders and overcurrent protection.
- Recognize various types of lighting applications.
- Learn repairs based on types of equipment.
- Apply different types of support and anchor systems needed for safe installations of equipment.
