DIMA 2981 - Internship 4.5 Credits
This internship program provides students with the opportunity to apply their knowledge, learn new techniques, and get on-the-job training at an approved work site. Based on state guidelines, students must complete 40 hours of work for each credit hour. Students must have completed 54.0 credit hours in their discipline to be eligible for an internship. Interested students must contact program faculty to develop an internship to meet their academic and career goals.
Note: Previous on-the-job training or work experience may not be applied to fulfill the requirements of this course.

Course Objectives
- Maintain regular hours.
- Work with design, interactivity and/or media arts software/equipment.
- Apply design, interactivity and/or media arts skills acquired in school to real-world projects.
- Observe and integrate basic professionalism as it relates to the field of design, interactivity and/or media arts and client communications.
