DIMA 2840 - Projects Development 4.5 Credits
This course is a capstone experience for the students completing the Design and Interactive Media Arts program. The primary activity of the course is the students’ amalgamations of technical and aesthetic accomplishment into projects that are representative of individual achievement and principal to the students’ portfolio.
Prerequisites: (1) Instructor approval

Course Objectives
- Identify through self, class, and committee critique of their previous work. A category of strong and weak points both technical and aesthetic.
- Analyze the identified categories and produce a text that expresses the categories and a plan both short and long term to satisfy professional development
- Formulate in consultation with the course instructor a plan of work for the quarter. This work to be both a confirmation of competency and an expression of self creative integrity. The formulation will thus provide the criteria for judgment of achievement.
- Execute the plan of work to create the work.
- Prepare a portfolio. The portfolio contents to be focused toward acceptance to other institutions, self-achievement, or employment.
- Present their portfolio for judgment of quality to class, course instructor, option instructor and or a committee.
- Prepare and plan an oral exposition on their work results.
