DIMA 1520 - UI/UX 4.5 Credits
Students learn user research and design techniques so they can create an optimal web presence for a wide array of industries and customers. Utilizing these techniques and the application of user interface fundamentals, students will create industry standard UX design deliverables, a component library, and final responsive website mockups.

Course Objectives
- Conduct user interviews to create user personas for the target audience of a website.
- Conduct competitive research to understand strategies and competitive advantages of design decisions.
- Create industry standard user experience (UX) deliverables to communicate the intended structure and functionality of a website.
- Create a design system and user interface (UI) component library following ADA/WCAG accessibility guidelines.
- Conduct usability tests to refine design solutions.
- Create high-fidelity responsive website mockups using industry-standard design tools.
