ARTS 2230 - Native American Art 4.5 Credits This course examines the material culture of various indigenous peoples of North America. Special attention is given to Northern Plains Indians. Students will identify and analyze art created in North America from 1700 to the present day. Students will examine art as visual communication and discuss works of art in social and historical contexts.
