ARCH 1800 - Building Systems Fundamentals 9 Credits Students learn the fundamental behavior and components of building systems. This course examines basic scientific processes and how they are incorporated into MEP systems design. Fundamentals of operation, coordination, and occupant impacts are discussed. Students explore sustainability topics related to thermal control, lighting systems, and water usage and use Revit software to design building systems for construction documentation.
Prerequisites: (1) ARCH 1115 must be completed prior to taking this course. Recommended: CNST 1020 Lec: 9 Lab: 0 Cr: 9
