2025- 2026 Catalog Addendums


While every possible step has been taken to ensure the accuracy of the catalog, sometimes minor changes must be made throughout the year that are in the interest of the students or the College. The following are updates and changes made after the initial publication on May 12, 2025. These changes are reflected in the online version of the catalog but will not be reflected in the print version and are considered an addendum to the 2025-2026 catalog.

 

Course Changes

11/19/25 - Prerequisite ENGL 0960 - To resolve an issue within our Student Information System (SIS), the designation “with a grade of P” has been appended to ENGL 0960, which is listed as a prerequisite for the following courses: ENGL 1010, ENGL 1011, ENGL 1220, ENGL 1225, ENGL 1230, and ENGL 1310.

 

Program Changes

10/11/25 - Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair Technician certificate (ATMCE) - To align with Collegue and how the program was orginially submitted by faculty, the tile of this program was abbreviated to Automotive MLR Technician Certificate (ATMCE). No program content or requirements were changed.

 


Other Changes

7/21/25 - Financial Matters > Financial Aid Satisactory Progress Policy and Standards

A change in has been made under section 2 and now indicates: To receive or continue to receive financial aid, students must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0.

 

8/12/25 - Academic Calendar

After publishing the catalog, a change to the Census Data Policy required census date changes for 25/FA, 25/WI, 25SP, and 26/SS quarters. 

 

9/1/25 - The Refund Policy for Credit Courses has been changed to align with the information on the college website.  The new policy states:

Credit courses

The last day to drop a class without being charged (Census Date) is listed in the Important Dates. Students must drop by 11:59 p.m. on that day to receive a full refund. After that, students will be charged for the class.

Note: Schedule changes may have implications for students on Financial Aid. Prior to any schedule changes, check with the Financial Aid office.
